urgh! this has been the most sleep deprived i have ever been since i’ve started working. i hope it’s just the flu tablets working its magic. bummer. a very dear (and wonderful) friend of ours turn 38 yesterday and we had the most amazing home party ever. dinner was beyond GREAT and everyone had a hearty time.
38 marks such turn of events in his life. as we get older, birthdays become benchmarks. we look at our checklist of things to accomplish, strike off things which have been done and add on future endeavours to embark on. c’est la vie. for this year, i have only one wish for him. and i know i am not the only in the house who has the same wish even though it’s unspoken of.
I desperately need to put the pictures up cos’ the dinner’s so amazing and it doesn’t do justice to another friend whom had prepared everything single handledly(!). the table was set impeccably with candles and roses. dinner was served individually to the 8 guests at the table throughout the 5-course dinner. the drinks were topped up ever so often. how meticulous!

p/s: need to head down to sony ericsson first! i probably will never buy another sony ericsson phone in my life and this is coming from an ex-sony ericsson fan! atrocious customer service!
