Of xmas wishes

Christmas is always filled with warmth and love. This Christmas, I am a little apprehensive. Mostly, about the impending changes that will very well have a huge impact on me. I am not sure if I am ready for the change. As I prepped myself for it, I feel a little sadder as each day passes because I know the end is drawing near. This is all very new to me. Too new.

Unknowingly, I feel hormonal, anxious and nervous. I wish I could verbalise it and crumble like a cookie but I could not bring myself to. That will be too selfish. Till’ the day is here, I guess I will be unsettled for a while.

Come what may.

needs and wants, which will you choose? such as a drastic difference and choosing one over the other puts you in a moral dilemma. when the paths of needs and wants do not cross, how would two people move on from there? i choose wants. ’cos i know that is what keeps me alive. what about you?

Of the count down

I am cuddled up in bed with Edith Piaf, Carla Bruni and a good book. This is quite a luxury for a weekday night. Though the skateman and I had only parted 30 minutes ago, I am missing the togetherness. Not a crazy mad passionate kinda miss but just a longing ache.

Of late, I am beginning to be more aware of how quickly time has been passing. I’d probably have three more months before he is off to the land of unspeakable. It’s a little scary thinking about it and I wonder if it’s possible to remain sane through this.

I am definitely racing against time. Somehow, I think both of us knew that time isn’t on our side. It’s all very strange. Excited yet apprehensive. Every occasion this year will be very special for us.

Crossing my heart. Come what may.

This has to our favourite restaurant. We always leave the place very satisfied, filled and extremely pleased. Service is immaculate. Food is scrumptious. The entire experience is so wonderful that it keeps us going back despite the price. Jap BBQ FTW.
